EVE Energy Invited to Attend the 10th Energy Storage Summit in London and Deliver a Speech

From February 17-19, 2025, the 10th Energy Storage Summit was grandly held in London, UK. EVE Energy was invited to attend the summit and delivered a speech on the topic of "Can Large-Scale Batteries Simplify the Growing Management of Power Station Projects," bringing advanced solutions and new development ideas to the high-demand European energy storage market.

Growth and Challenges of the European Energy Storage Market

According to global authoritative consulting agencies IHS and EASE, by 2030, the energy storage demand in Europe will reach 300GW. By 2050, the demand will rise to over 600GW. To meet this enormous demand, large-scale energy storage deployment becomes key, with individual unit capacity advancing from MWh to GWh. In 2024, the first power station project with a single unit capacity exceeding 1GWh will emerge.

However, issues such as the economic feasibility, operational complexity, and safety of energy storage stations are becoming increasingly prominent, posing new challenges to advanced storage technologies and power station system design in the industry.

EVE Energy's Large Battery Technology Simplifies Large-Scale Energy Storage Systems

To address the above challenges, EVE Energy has been continuously pushing technological boundaries, first proposing the concept of large batteries and achieving mass production. The 628Ah ultra high capacity cell Mr.Big simplifies the energy storage system, reducing the number of data collection points in power stations of the same scale by half. According to calculations, this can reduce the lifecycle operation and maintenance costs of energy storage stations by 30%, while operation and maintenance time can be reduced from 336 hours per year to 232 hours.

The 5MWh energy storage system Mr.Giant, integrated with Mr.Big's minimalist design, boasts a high energy efficiency of 95.5%, bringing significant benefits to customers with a pursuit of extreme efficiency. Currently, the product demonstration operation station has been in operation since last August in Jingmen, Hubei, with nearly six months of actual operational efficiency and benefit testing data.

As one of the first in the industry to achieve mass production of 600Ah+ energy storage cells, Mr.Big relies on EVE Energy's 60GWh super energy storage factory's advanced manufacturing capabilities and ultra-high efficiency to provide global customers with high-quality products and efficient delivery, with a PPB-level product defect rate.
